A warm welcome is waiting for you at Lone Wolf Colony, a multi-use facility located at a 3,000 foot elevation in Apple Valley, California. Lone Wolf Colony has been designated a Historical Landmark in the town of Apple Valley.
Lone Wolf Colony, Inc. was established in 1922 as a health ranch for fully ambulatory adults recovering from an injury, surgery, or non-communicable illness and is still used today for that purpose. For those wishing to stay at Lone Wolf Colony for health reasons, a Physician’s handwritten “original” prescription advising a stay at Lone Wolf Colony would be beneficial to the patient's healing process and health is required. Once approved by Lone Wolf Colony Management, guests are allowed to stay up to two (2) weeks per year for health reasons. Lone Wolf Colony is a 501(c)3 organization. Giving back to the communities in which we live is a very large part of what we are all about. We provide support to many needy and charitable organizations in the High Desert and our people and facility are there when the need arises for assistance. We are designated an American Red Cross Relief Center to be used in case of disaster. We are dedicated to being there for our neighbors.
Special consideration is given to law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and other civic organizations for the use of Lone Wolf Colony for meetings and functions.
Summer temperatures are in the high 90’s during the day but the evenings will drop to the 60’s. Winter highs will be in the 50’s during the day and night lows can be in the low 20’s.
